LDS, I'm kinda confused about The Word of Wisdom and Alcohol?

The Word of Wisdom does not proibit alcohol for medicinal purposes- ie use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake. I myself also make use of caffiene on the advice of my doctor for a medical condition(migraines) Alcohol is also sometimes really soothing rubbed on my muscle groups that cramp from MS. Totally in line with what Paul says.Yeah if you have an upset stomach, maybe wine will help but as the W of W says,not to drink for drinks sake
